Kauhale Kai-“Village by the Sea”, is a magnificent private residence perched above Kauna’oa Bay at the Mauna Kea Resort. The two family and guest pavilions each include two bedrooms, two bathrooms with outdoor showers and a spacious sitting/entertainment room; one has an additional full bath to allow the sitting room to be used as overflow sleeping accommodations.
Interior finish materials include clear cedar ceilings, local ohia hardwood cabinetry, sand grain veneer plaster, plus travertine and Ohia floors. Exterior materials consist of copper shingle roof, steel doors and windows, integral color cement plaster, cedar eaves, coral stone columns and travertine pavers.
Situated on a very private 2-acre site at the end of a cul-de-sac within the gated Kauna’oa at Mauna Kea community, Kauhale Kai has sweeping views of the ocean and sunsets and access to a myriad of amenities within the Kauna'oa community. The beautiful white sand beach fronting the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel is less than a 10-minute walk or 2-minute golf cart ride away.
